To celebrate the end of the long weekend, friendship and Debbies new job, The Dee girlz, August and myself hiked the Tennesee Valley Trail. Trail? Trail to me suggests meandering through woody knolls, inspecting local wildlife, quoting Wittman, ect. This trail required a visit to REI for oxygen tanks and special underwear;-0. The picnic on the beach, spent with three of my favourite people, watching the sun set over the Pacific will go down as one of the celebrated events of the year! Map!

17 Mile Drive

I posted this originally as a test of my abilities to get my head around photoshop and VERY basic HTML stuff, but they are actually nice photos so I will leave them up for a bit. These were taken after the Spinnaker Cup in 2004. I have never been so cold in my life!

Wolloped by the Swede!

picture(6)_1.jpg

Brian has a few hobbies but his favorite is spending Saturdays in Hospital. It has been a few weeks since he has made a visit, so he broke the boom on Wolloping Swede this Saturday. If that was not enough, he decided to stop further damage to the boat by placing his head between the mainsheet and the cabin. What a guy! Medical support team including the long suffering Ann and members of the crew attended the gathering.

Brian was spotted at a yacht club later that evening, so we suspect that all will be well.

What a wonderful evening. Izzy's comes highly recommended. Great food, great company. Happy Birthday, Brian!

Multi-tasking Mexican food

We need to iron, we need to eat! Now, the amazing Ms. Perry can do both. You should see her make tacos. The Tomales were fantastic.

KABOOM

KFOG treated us to yet another mind-bending display of pyrotechnics last weekend. If you are not around the bay area, or you want to have another shot- KFOG

I had the pleasure of spending the day with my friend Denise and her extended work (Market Hall) family on a sailboat until the alternater belt decided to part company with the engine! Popped on BART and met our friend Todd and enjoyed a glorious evening on the Embarcadero. Living here really sucks ;-)
